I've been living in Paris for four years, and yet I still feel like I'm discovering something new every week. My perfect day is always a mix of music, good food, art, and, of course, wine.
I start with a Jazz Brunch at La Bellevilloise. I love the ambiance: the lively room, the live music and a generous plate to get the day off to a good start.
Then, I go to the Fragonard Perfume Museum. I really like this place because you learn while having fun, and I find it fascinating to see how a perfume can tell a story.
I'm going to the Caves du Louvre for a wine creation workshop. It's an activity that I recommend to everyone: you snack, you assemble, and at the end you leave with your own bottle. It's fun and very satisfying.
For lunch, it's impossible not to mention my favorite dish: ravioli soup from Maison Sichuan. It's delicious, comforting, and I could eat it every day.
I continue my day with a visit to the Arbre Sec Distillery. The decor is superb, and I like the atmosphere of the place, which is both elegant and warm. We end the visit with a tasting of an artisanal gin produced by the Distillery, as well as a Vermouth from the Distillery but also a Gin tonic
Then I take some time at the Jeu de Paume Museum, one of my favorite museums in Paris. I really like photography, and the exhibitions here are always inspiring. On my way out, I cross the Tuileries Garden to take a breath and enjoy the city.
Here, I am taking part in an original tasting: Agreements & Disagreements. In the first part, a sommelier explains to me the essential bases of food & wine pairings. Together, we discover why some associations work so well... and why others surprise or destabilize. Then comes the most fun moment: I create my own chords with different bites. Everyone has their own interpretation, everyone has their own palate! We quickly realize that there is no single “right answer”, but an infinity of possibilities guided by our personal tastes.
An educational, creative and very friendly workshop, which makes you want to replay the experience at home around a meal with friends.
To end the day in style, head to the Little Red Door, ranked among the best cocktail bars in Paris. I love its relaxed and creative atmosphere, where each cocktail is a true sensory experience.

I am from the Netherlands, but I have been living in Paris for a few years... and in other words, I love the Latin Quarter. Between the pavements, the old stones and the small restaurants, you never get bored around here!
My favorite place: around Rue Mouffetard, I can't get enough of this street. It is one of the oldest in Paris, but it has a very lively energy. You meet students, neighbors, tourists... and above all, full of good smells, I love having a drink there.
It is a paradise for food lovers: cheesemakers, bakers, greengrocers... I could spend hours there. Besides, I have a soft spot for Place de la Contrescarpe: perfect for having a coffee and watching life go by.
On weekends, I like to go to the Monge Market. I always find good products there, in a simple and authentic atmosphere. Once my basket is full, head to the Jardin des Plantes. It is my secret place to take a break and enjoy the peace and quiet, between the large tropical greenhouses and the ancient trees.
And when I want a shot of culture... I pass by the Pantheon. I love its architecture, imposing and majestic and every time, I get a little shiver thinking about all the history it contains. And with the Sorbonne right next door, you can feel that the neighborhood thinks as much as it eats!
The Latin Quarter is a perfect blend of culture, food, nature... and Parisian charm.
